On September 8, Gab (second from left) will take on the Tor des Géants once more with the goal of raising money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) and supporting people with epilepsy.

"I know how hard it is for people in the epilepsy community that live with seizures every day and I want them to know that just like they strive to reach their potential, I promise to continue to try and finish this race," says Gab.

Last time Gab covered 144 miles in just 57 hours before being forced to withdraw due to a leg injury, this time, he feels more confident than ever.

"I have dedicated 2019 to improving my fitness and strengthening my core and quads to be able to withstand the brutal climbs and descents in the Alps. I have traveled around the U.S. to try and replicate some of the elevation changes I will experience. My training included elevation training, numerous overnight runs, and many hill repeats at local ski parks. I am feeling confident that with the lessons I have learned from the last race, I can go further and succeed in inspiring more people to donate to EFMN."
